What can I say about Nova Launcher that hasn’t been said before? This year, Nova received true Google Now integration on the home screen, and recently got Sesame Shortcuts integration, which is an immensely useful feature, in my humble opinion.

If you have some sensitive apps on your device, you can go ahead and hide them from being listed in the app drawer. Further, you can sort apps based on recency, file size, and several other metrics, so you’re in full control of how the apps are laid out on your phone. Apex Launcher is a free download on the Google Play Store and lacks ads or in-app purchases. Evie Launcher is a newer launcher that is more simplistic than Nova Launcher, but no less enjoyable to use. The home screen is just four quick launch icons and a search bar. Should I Use Launcher?

From icon pack support to app drawer customization, it comes with tons of features. I have been using Nova launcher for six years, and it never disappointed me. It’s the best third-party launcher for Android in a lot of ways. My home screen is set up with my most-used apps, a search bar, an alarm and Month widget.
